Born and raised in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Naisae moved to Cape Town, South Africa at the age of 9, where she completed her primary and secondary education. Even at a young age, her determination and creativity set her apart.

After high school, Naisae’s entrepreneurial spirit came alive when she founded her first business — Ney Bakes, a small baking venture that marked the beginning of her path as a businesswoman. She later moved to Johannesburg to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Economics (BSc) at Monash University, where she combined her academic growth with a strong drive for business innovation.

During her third year at university, Naisae launched Ney Hair, a luxury hair salon and brand that quickly became a household name among South African celebrities, socialites, and high-end clients. Ney Hair was born from Naisae’s personal struggle to find quality hair products and protective styles that promoted healthy hair growth. What began as a personal solution evolved into one of the leading luxury wig and hair suppliers in South Africa — and a testament to her eye for quality and excellence.

Building on Ney Hair’s success, Naisae expanded her portfolio with Bladed Shaded, a business specializing in permanent makeup, and Forever Frames, inspired by her love for interior design and creating beautiful, meaningful spaces.

In 2023, after years of building her brand across borders, Naisae made a bold and heartfelt decision to return home to Tanzania. She introduced Ney Hair TZ and Forever Frames TZ, expanding her businesses into the Tanzanian market and sharing her expertise with a new audience.

Her entrepreneurial journey continued to flourish in 2024 with the launch of Ney Homes, a real estate venture that manages short- and long-term rentals across Tanzania. Ney Homes has already acquired 10 homes available for both local and international rental listings — blending luxury, comfort, and accessibility.

In 2025, Naisae took her vision beyond business with the creation of Carry Kindness with Naisae Yona — an initiative born from compassion and purpose. Inspired by her experience as a mother and her encounters with children living with Cerebral Palsy, she founded Carry Kindness to empower people living with disabilities, ensuring they are seen, supported, and never left behind.
